Does the brumachen use k-cups®?
Yes, the brumachen is k-cup® friendly. It also uses most standard size disposable and refillable pods, including our own biodegradable version in the Leaf pods
How do I power the brumachen?
The brumachen has 3 power source options. Brew in your car with the attached car power port. Brew at home or in the office with the included wall outlet adapter. Even brew off the grid with an approved and tested portable battery. (Portable battery sold separately) 
How long does the brumachen take to make a cup of coffee?
It takes approximately 6 minutes to brew a cup of coffee with room temperature water at 68°F, however it may take longer if water at a lower temperature is used.
How much coffee does the brumachen make?
The brumachen is designed to brew the right amount of coffee to get your day going no matter where you are. Brewing up to 6 oz. per session. If you find yourself needing another cup, go ahead and brew yourself another.
Uses
Can I fly with my brumachen bottle?
Yes, it will have no problem coming along with you on flights as long as you empty out all the liquids from the bottle. The brumachen bottle can be checked in, however if you are traveling with the bru power bank, please carry that on your person or in your carry-on. It may not be transported in a checked bag due to the Li-polymer battery.
Can I use any type of water?
We would always prefer you use filtered water to prevent a build up of sediments in the pumps of the machine.
Can I put other beverages in there besides coffee and tea?
The brumachen bottle is designed for coffee and tea. We do not recommend brewing any other beverages in it.
Product Care
Do I need to wash my brumachen?
Yes,follow these instructions:
• Always remove used pod from machine.
• Unplug your Brumachen before cleaning.
• Rinse the detachable mug with water.
• Scrub the water heating unit with the hairbrush
• Avoid using alcohol or detergents.
• Don't submerge water heating unit.
How and when do I descale the brumachen?
• Descale the machine every 100 coffees.
• Fill water reservoir with 25ml of white vinegar.
• Let it sit for 1-hour without heating it.
• Pour the vinegar out and rinse 5 to 6 times with water.
• Repeat if necessary.
What do I do if I break the detachable cup?

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Does the brumachen bottle have a warranty?
Bru offers a 1-year limited warranty on all bottles purchased from www.brumachen.com and authorized retailers. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of any defective material or component. In the rare case that we are unable to repair or replace the defective material or component, we will submit a refund. It does not cover any issues due to normal wear and tear, misuse or loss/theft of the bottle.
What is bru's Return Policy?
We would be happy to accept returns of any unused brumachen product* (excluding personalized brumachen bottles) in its original packaging within 30 days of the purchase date. Complimentary returns are available in the United States and Canada. Please reach out to info@brumachen.com and our Customer Experience team will assist you with the return process.

Limited Edition/Gift Sets: You can return any brumachen bottle as long as it fits our Return Policy. Please note, if the set is not returned in full, the promotional discount will no longer be applicable. *If a product is returned used or does not pass our inspection, it will not be eligible for a refund. Brumachen will not be responsible for shipping back any product deemed ineligible for a refund or exchange.

We are unable to exchange any brumachen bottles purchased with a Limited Edition Set for another size, color, or style. Limited Edition Sets are only available in the color and size combinations offered upon purchase. If you think you are experiencing issues with your bottle, please register your bottle here to submit a warranty claim.
